Sapper Henry Edward Gillham

Sapper Henry Edward Gillham, son of Henry and Honorah Gillham, of Bow, London, served with 1st Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Sapper Gillham died on 19 September 1944, aged 28 years old. He was initially buried in Arnhem General Cemetery, before being reinterred at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
