Pte Harry Warburton was in 1st Parachute Battalion, following transfer from The Lancashire Fusiliers (as a Sergeant). He passed his Parachute Course in March 1944 (No.108) - his record commented 'Keen-Reliable-Confident'.
He served in HQ Company as a member of the Quartermasters Stores Platoon at Arnhem during Op Market Garden. He died aged 31 on 25 September 1944 and has No Known Grave, his name recorded at Groesbeek Memorial, Holland.
