Private Gwyn Morgan

Gwyn Morgan, son of Arthur and Margaret Morgan, of Loughor, Glamorgan, enlisted in the South Wales Borderers and then volunteered for the airborne forces.

Private Morgan was posted to the 3rd Battalion, the Parachute Regiment and took part in Operation Torch in North Africa.

Pte Morgan was Killed in Action on 6 January 1943, aged 23. He is commemorated on the Medjez-El-Bab memorial.
