Lieutenant-Colonel Graeme Hannington

Served as a private soldier in 16 Indep Coy (V). Commissioned and served in the Royal Engineers, retiring as Lt Col.

Graeme's first OC was Maj David Hanmer (76-78, he recalls): he was the last regular OC. Graeme's second ‘boss’  was Maj Graham Tobin (1978)- the first Reserve OC. Iain Cholerton was his Pl Comd (he later commanded a Sabre Sqn in 22 SAS). Graeme left the Company and went to Sandhurst in late 78.
