Sergeant Gordon F J Bruce

Sergeant Gordon Francis James Bruce was the son of Gordon and Elise M Bruce, and husband of Margaret G Bruce, of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. He served with 156th Parachute Battalion, and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Sergeant Bruce died on 20 September 1944, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
