George Gregory was the son of James and Sarah Gregory, of Walsall, Staffordshire.
Lance Corporal Gregory served during World War II with 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, The South Staffordshire Regiment, and died on active service during the Italian campaign.
L/Cpl Gregory died on 22 October 1943 and is now buried in Bari War Cemetery, Italy.
