Lance Corporal George E Reeve

Lance Corporal George Edward Reeve served with the 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, Ox and Bucks LI and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.
George was injured by shrapnel while doing recon on Herouvillette. He was taken to Ranville aid station where he sadly died from his wounds.

L/Cpl Reeve died on 7 June 1944, aged 29 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
