Sergeant Frederick Scoging

Frederick Scoging enlisted into the Seaforth Highlanders in 1931 and later volunteered for The Parachute Regiment.

Sergeant Scoging served with HQ Company, 22nd (Independent) Parachute Company and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.

Sgt Scoging died on 9 June 1944, aged 28 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
