Lance Corporal Frederick Frank Allen of Clapham North, London, served with 11th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
Lance Corporal Allen died on 1 November 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, near Nijmegen.
