Private Fred Wright

Fred Wright served with 23 Parachute Field Ambulance RAMC in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Fred was born in September 1937. He joined Airborne Forces with 23 Parachute Field Ambulance in his early 20s, in the Field Surgical Team under first Maj Kirby and then later Maj Roger Freeman.

Others in the Surgical Team were G Moxham, A Palmer, A Winder, R Taylor, J Harrrison, R Rossi, and V Maure. The Team was later joined by Capt Richard Potts and Capt Bill Hesson.
