Sergeant Frank A Egleton

Frank A Egleton volunteered for the airborne forces from The Royal Artillery. 

Whilst holding the rank of L/Cpl he was jump trained at RAF Ringway on course 88. This course ran between 18 and 30 October 1943. His instructor noted this about his performance on the course: "Confident jumper, no hesitation". Frank then became a member of  the 13th Parachute Bn, MMG Pln and served with them in actions across Europe in 1944/5. 

8 January 1946 he joined the Army Reserves.
