Lance Corporal Frank A Cherrett

Frank Albert Cherrett was the son of Frank and Lilian Ruth Mary Cherrett, of Sholing, Southampton.

After successfully completing his parachute training, Lance Corporal Cherrett served with the 9th (Essex) Parachute Battalion.

He was killed on 18 April 1945 and is now buried in Hanover War Cemetery, Germany.
