Staff Sergeant Eric H Lowe

Eric Herbert Lowe was the son of Herbert Ernest and Violet Lowe and husband of Eileen Joyce Lowe, of Neasden, Middlesex. He enlisted in the Royal Artillery and volunteered for airborne forces.

Staff Sergeant Lowe successfully completed his glider pilot training and was posted to 2nd Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment. S/Sgt Lowe was killed in a flying accident at RAF Keevil on 4 May 1944, age 23. He is buried at Abbots Langley (St Lawrence) Churchyard.
