Sergeant Eric Dutton Parker was the son of Harry Crook and Leah Parker, and husband of Jean Evelyn Parker, of Keighley, Yorkshire. He served with 156th Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died on 18 September 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
