Corporal Ellis Lynn Howells, son of John Howell and Mary Margretta Howells, of St Clears, Carmarthenshire, served with 6th (Royal Welch) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.
Corporal Howells died on 11 May 1943, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Le Petit Lac Cemetery, near Oran, Algeria.
