Corporal Edward Alfred Smith, Bolton, Lancashire, served with The 1st Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (1 PARA) and took part in the deployment to Cyprus during the EOKA campaign in 1956.
Corporal Smith died on 12 August 1956, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Waynes Keep Cemetery, Cyprus.
