Driver Douglas H Cheeseman

Driver Douglas Henry Cheeseman was the son of Ernest and Florence Cheeseman, and husband of H M Joan Cheeseman, of Berry Hill, Gloucestershire. He served with the Royal Army Service Corps, and was attached to HQ 1st Airborne Division to take part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Driver Cheesman died on 22 September 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
