Captain David J Everiss

David Everiss joined 16 Air Assault Brigade as a medic in 2009 and completed P Coy in March 2010. He was the first Radiographer in the history of the RAMC to pass pre-parachute selection. After deploying  on Op Herrick 13 with 16 Medical Regiment, David completed his jumps and qualified as a military parachutist in 2011.

After passing Ex Black Serpent, David was briefly attached to Medical Support Wing and went on to gain his US parachute wings on an exercise in Fort Bragg.

He was a keen sportsman and athlete, representing the Army Medical Services at football, rugby and triathlon.

David later commissioned and went on  to serve in a number of command and staff roles with 2nd Medical Brigade.
