Private Cyril Burrows

Private Cyril Burrows, son of Arthur and Hannah Louisa Burrows, of Leicester, served as part of the A Company attachment to the Signals Platoon, HQ Company, 3rd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Private Burrows died on 20 September 1944, aged 27 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
