Lance Bombardier Charles H Bryant

Charles Henry Bryant was born and lived in Birmingham, he enlisted in the Royal Artillery and volunteered for airborne forces.

Lance Bombardier Bryant successfully completed glider training and was posted to 53rd (The Worcestershire Yeomanry) Airlanding Light Regiment, Royal Artillery, and took part in Operation Overlord (Normandy).

L/Bdr Bryant was killed in action on 12 July 1944, aged 23, and was buried in Ranville War Cemetery, Calvados, France.
