Lance Corporal Charles Edward Salmon

Lance Corporal Charles Edward Salmon, son of Charles and Mary Wilson Garret Salmon, of Rotherham, Yorkshire, served with 4th Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 20 September 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
