Captain Cedric Michael Horsfall

Captain Cedric Michael Horsfall was the son of Sir J Donald Horsfall, and of Lady Horsfall (nee Musgrove), of Glusburn, Yorkshire. He served with D Company HQ as Assistant OC, 10th Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Captain Horsfall died on 20 September 1944, aged 26 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, near Arnhem.
