Lieutenant Carmel Stuart Leitch

Lieutenant Carmel Stuart Leitch, son of George and Gertrude Leitch, and husband of Mildred Elizabeth Leitch, of Kettering, Northamptonshire, served with 1st Airlanding Light Regiment, Royal Artillery. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 24 September 1944, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
