Captain Arthur R Oxenford

Captain Arthur Ruthven Oxenford was the son of Ferdinand and Carolyn Reeves Oxenford, and husband of Annie Gillespie Oxenford, of Bishop's Waltham, Hampshire. He served with 2nd Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 8 October 1944, aged 31 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
