Sapper Anthony W Alexander

Sapper Anthony Wilfred Alexander was the son of Edward William and Vera Alexander, and husband of Mary Janet Alexander. He served with 249 Field Company (Airborne), Royal Engineers and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy, during Op Overlord.

Sapper Alexander died on 10 June 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
