Lieutenant Anthony Robert Thomas

Lieutenant Anthony Robert Thomas, son of Martin Lewis and Eleanor Thomas, of Sydenham, London, served with 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Border Regiment. He was attached to 1st Airlanding Brigade HQ.

He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden. He died on 20 September 1944, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
