Gunner Anthony R Stent

28 Jun 1927 - 23 Sep 1946

Anthony Reginald Stent was the son of Archibald William and Winifred Mary Stent, of Farncombe, Godalming, Surrey.

He successfully completed his parachute training on the 27 June 1946. It was noted that Gunner Stent was "Cheerful and well disciplined"

He was posted to 2nd Airlanding Anti-Tank Regiment, Royal Artillery, where he served in Palestine.

He was killed on the 23 September 1946 and is now buried in Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel.
