Major Alexander V Cochran

Major Alexander Verner Cochran was the son of Lt Col A C P Cochran and Mrs Cochran, and husband of Penelope Hearson Cochran. He served with 7th (Airborne) Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 20 September 1944, aged 31 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
