Alexander Armour Bulloch was born and lived in Glasgow, he enlisted in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders and volunteered for airborne forces.
Rifleman Bulloch successfully completed glider training and was posted to 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Royal Ulster Rifles, and took part in operation Varsity (Rhine Crossing).
Rfn Bulloch was killed in action on 24 March 1945, aged 26, and was given a field burial at Wissen Castle and was re-interred to Reichswald Forest War Cemetery on 23 October 1946.
