Corporal Albert Severn

Corporal Albert Severn was born in June 1916. He was the son of Mr and Mrs B Severn, of Royston, Yorkshire, and the husband of Mary Severn, also of Royston. He served with 1st Parachute Battalion, and took part in the North African campaign.

Corporal Severn was kiled in action at Djebel Mansour, Tunisia on 3 February 1943, aged 27 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
