I knew Jock Ross, I was a young recruit in 357 recruit platoon. He was a great guy - very friendly and approachable. I was shocked when he and young Hickling were killed. I had lent him my portable radio to listen to during the time he did the jump. After the accident two military police arrived to give it back to me. How they knew I have no idea.
