Lance Corporal Trott served in 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment from 1958 to 1964, spending the initial three years in Cyprus before being deployed to the Persian Gulf in 1961 (pictured) in Kuwait and Bahrain for the remainder of his service.
He served with HQ Company before transferring to Quartermaster's (QM's) Stores.
