Captain Alan E Leaf

Captain Alan Edward Leaf, son of George E and Emily R Leaf, of Eastcote, Middlesex, served with 53rd (Worcestershire Yeomanry) Airlanding Light Regiment, Royal Artillery. He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.

Captain Leaf died on 24 March 1945, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Limburg in Holland.
