Lieutenant Michael Charles Eden

Lieutenant Michael Charles Eden was the son of Brigadier Henry Charles Hamilton Eden and of Violet Alice Eden, and husband of Patricia Eden, of Hambleton, Lancashire.

He served with 4th Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden. He died on 21 September 1944, aged 22 years old and is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
