Robert Elmore is on the left and Kenneth Hughes on the right - both members of 225 Parachute Field Ambulance. The location is the Quarry at L'Ecarde just north of Ranville and east of Amfreville. It was the location of the 2nd Main Dressing Station established by 225 PFA on 21st June 1944.
