Ted Short notes: This was taken in Tel a Viv in 1943 while on leave after our 7 jumps, you will notice we have not got the Parachute red berets or cap badge. We are wearing the Army Air Corps badge. The red beret had not arrived, but we did get them after a few days. I am on the left facing you.
