This jump took place during the 30th Inter Parachute Schools Competition. On my left, an officer from the Spanish Parachute Training School scrutinises the Pegasus Sticker on the side of my helmet. To my right is Paul Cavanagh.
In front of Paul Cavanagh in our stick was a Swedish Parachute Ranger officer. The chalk contained 32 personnel including the 2-star General Commanding the Portuguese Rapid Reaction Brigade (Maj Gen Raul da Cunha), two competition teams (from France and Belgium), and the Deputy Commander of the Portuguese Parachute Training School.
