This magnificent model Argosy which 'flew' across the castle dropping small parachutists and was made in The Pioneer Workshop by Sgt Surman and Pte Wilson. The model was 1/8th the size of the genuine article and this gave it a wing span of over 14 feet and a overall weight of 300lbs.
