This card reads:
"Stalag XIIA. October 4 1944
I have been taken prisoner of war in Germany. I am in good health. I will be transferred form here within the next few days. Please do not write until I send new address.
Kindest Regards Peter"
When he was taken a Prisoner of War Pte Wyke was instructed to copy this message from a blackboard.
