The programme for the ceremonial hand-over to 70 Sqn, RAF of the 2 PARA Regimental Mascot in March 1962 after completing a 3 year tour. 2 PARA were unable to bring him home because of the ‘African Horse’ disease, then rife in the Middle East.
Rumour has it that being 'PARA', he wouldn't behave for his new owners and was retired to the local zoo.
