Scott Meenagh is a double amputee following an IED strike whilst on deployment on OP HERRICK at the start of 2011. Since suffering his injuries he has been in and out of hospital with complications.
Despite this Scott has been working on a farm that delivers pony trekking and outdoor opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged children. To enable Scott to continue his duties to the fullest with his mobility being severely impeding due to harsh condition and the remoteness of his location.
It was decided to enhance his ability by granting funds for him to have a quad bike. The total cost was £8154 of which the Afghan Trust paid £4054, H4H paid £4000 with a kind contribution of £100 from the manufacturer. Scott you are an example to all of us with your unselfish attitude and the will to help others ”Truly Airborne”.
