Rhys Cooper walking 20 miles for The Parachute Regiment Charity, September 2014.

Para Charity Press Release dated 30 Sep 2014: 14 year old Rhys Cooper is an army cadet with the Griffithstown ACF detatchment, who set himself the challenge of walking with a weighted bergen and kit from Abergavenny to Newport on the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal, which is 20miles/32km. Rhys completed his challenge at the weekend, completing the 20 miles in just under 5hrs carring 25Ib in weight and wearing kit. The South wales Argus newspaper will be interviewing Rhys on his achievement so keep an eye out for that if you are local. Well done Rhys and Thank you!
