Afghanistan Trust

The Afghanistan Trust was formed on 15 March 2007 to help support soldiers who have served with The Parachute Regiment, and their families, and who have been affected by operations in Afghanistan.  Over the following years the charity raised over £3 million to provide mobility vehicles to amputees, specialist medical support and funding support in other ways, incluidng accomodation and travel for families to visit wounded loved ones.

In November 2014, it was announced that The Afghanistan Trust would merge with The Parachute Regiment Charity to form "Support our Paras" from 31 December 2014.  For more information please visit: The Support Our Paras Charity
