Private William L Huish

Private William Loader Huish was the son of Albert and Evelyn Louisa Huish, and husband of Norah Huish, of Chard, Somerset. He served with 7th (Light Infantry) Parachute Battalion and took part in the D-Day landings in Normandy, during Op Overlord.

Private Huish died on 6 June 1944, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Herouvillette New Communal Cemetery, Herouvillette near Caen, Normandy.
