Roll Call Private William E Hale – March 27th 1946

Private William Edward Hale, son of William and Mary E Hale, of Wallasey, Cheshire, served with the 1 Platoon, 22nd Independent Parachute Company. He took part in the post-war Far East campaign.

Private Hale died on 27 March 1946, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Jakarta War Cemetery, Indonesia.
