Roll Call Private Walter Halliwell – April 26th 1943

Private Walter Halliwell, was the son of Harry and Ada Halliwell, of Leeds, Yorkshire, and husband of Olive Halliwell, also of Leeds. He served with 3rd Parachute Battalion and took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.

Private Halliwell died on 26 April 1943, aged 27 years old. He is now buried at El Alia Cemetery, Algeria.
