Roll Call Private Vincent Leslie Cain – September 20th 1944

Private Vincent Leslie Cain, son of Bartholomew and Rose Cain, of Prescot, Lancashire, served with 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Border Regiment. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 20 September 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
