I went to school with Timmy, in Ross.
I joined the Parachute Regiment in 1979, on my 17th birthday, inspired by Sidney Ivor Davidson, 22 SAS.
I am now 53 yrs of age, and very much blessed to be alive, and enjoying my life, but I remember Timmy with great affection. He was always laughing, full of beans, with a twinkle in his eye at all times. Good lad, great soldier, why you and not me mucka ?
See you in the next life, and SID.
The Parachute Regiment makes exceptional men,and the best soldiers...

Tim was my cousin, although I was born in 1981 I don't remember anything about this war or unfortunately nothing about Tim but I have been told so many stories about you by mum, your auntie, (who sadly passed away April this year). I have recently been up to see you in the church yard and been telling my children all about you to keep your memory alive. I hope one day I get to visit the Falklands like mum, your dad and nan did back in 1990, to get closure and to walk in your steps that you once did. Now you are all back together again up there with your mum also (my auntie). Never forgotten, all my love, Ceri
