Roll Call Private Thomas H Hackett – June 12th 1944

Private Thomas Henry Hackett, son of James and Margaret Hackett, of Harehills, Leeds, Yorkshire, served with 12th (Yorkshire) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Normandy campaign, during Op Overlord.

Private Hackett died on 12 June 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
