Born and then dragged up in Liverpool.
Joined RAMC 1974 aged 17, after training posted to 19 Field Ambulance, Colchester. I was attached to 22 SAS Regt 1978-80.
Then worked at the Jungle Warfare School in Brunei. Far East Stuff etc.
Joined the Parachute Clearing Troop prior to the reformation of 23 PFA. As a qualified APJI and PARA was asked to coordinate and run Pre-Para and all that goes with it. Had a great 4 years and then went off to Norway to work at the NORDIC Adv Trg Centre.
After a rather messy divorce decided to quit the service Sept 1988.
